Getting and staying on God's page is quite the remarkable place to be! A few weeks ago I developed a Bakers Cyst on my right knee and was forced to take the bus to work (one hour) instead of the train (subway... 40 min). During that time I realized that I'd been craving good quiet reading TAWG (tima alone with God).
I made a committment that week to always take the bus to work! It's the second most refreshing and renewing hour of my day! (The first being early morning TAWG before I leave for work).
Today I find myself in bed with a torn meniscus. I thank God for his continual reminder to stay on His Page, and seek Him more and more! I am convinced that this set back (and possible surgery coming up) is because God wants to speak not only into my life but also into the lives of those with whom I live, work and hang around. I truly believe He desires to see us grow deeper and deeper in love with Him, no matter what our circumstances! It is Christ in me that keeps my heart light and joyful, and I thank Him for His continual strength and grace in every aspect of life! Amen!
